It's Mother's Day. With that in mind, I have prepared the following heartfelt message:

Thanks for not letting Dad replace me with that warm puppy like he kept threatening.

Oh, and thanks for all the kind words, hugs, gentle corrections, guidance, and love that you've shown me through all the years. But I especially appreciate not being replaced by a puppy. I don't think I could have handled that.
