Edited: You just don’t crap on another man’s koala

A concerned reader has informed me that the post about my lamp was nothing more than a bunch of childish sniveling, reminiscent of the self-absorbed whining of a five year old throwing a tantrum. In short, she (the concerned reader/friend) thought I was being an idiot*.

After careful consideration of the information at hand (including such in depth research as re-reading the post), the management of "It's kinda confusing right now" came to the conclusion that not only was the post a mind-numbing rant about a topic universally agreed upon as boring (floor lamps are dull, it's a proven fact), it had no potential for positive life application. That is, it wasn't just stupid, it was useless.

In order to maintain the slightly above mediocre caliber of writing that this site prides itself on, the offending post has been removed and replaced with this explanation.

Sincerely,

The Management

I understand what you're saying. It takes time for the Holy Spirit to convict a person of their sinfulness. Until then, they are quite comfortable in their sinful selves and will resent any high pressure attempts to "convert" them. Our task is to love them, and present Christ through our deeds first, then through our words.

What dirty butter was responding to was the last (and only useful) paragraph from the post that was there before I deleted it. It said, in short, that people won't necessarily thank you with open arms if you try to fix their life by introducing them to Christ.

I got rid of that paragraph along with the rest because I really just added it as a knee jerk attempt to make the post not suck. The topic really deserves its own post instead of being tacked on to the end of a rant.

Regardless, thanks the comment, dirty butter. I agree whole heartedly, especially with the last sentence.

Now I'm worried. I did get your rant, tom ;)!
