Because I don't much feel like writing

I haven't posted much lately. Haven't really had much to say. So, I'll show pretty pictures instead.

My bike, in all it's shiny, chrome-plated glory.

My bike's slash-cut exhaust. Not mufflers, mind you. Just exhaust.

I've been told that this is Tom, the leather edition. Not sure how to take that one, really.

And, to completely mess with the running theme, this is a picture of me, my buddy, and our parting gifts from some of the youth type people. I post it only because I said I would. Frankly, it makes me look like a gomer. At least I look like a happy gomer.

Hey, you're back! You have a rebel side! Ha ha! Cool bike...not that I would really know, but looks cool to me. :D

Thanks for the idea about duct tape! I've got another male reader who is always suggesting duct tape. He's already a dad and claims it works! Ha ha! Yikes!

oooooh, shiny! I went for a non-shiny BMW tourer (K1100LT) cos the weather is sooo rubbish over here in the UK, and they use a very nasty salty grit mixture on the roads in winter which likes to rot shiny things, but i do hanker after a nice cruis-y slashed pipe vrrrmmm machine. Funnily enough, i thought you might be the sports bike type, not sure why!

Ride safe now...

Girl (et al),

I'm kinda hoping to avoid the "two week no post" trend I had running there. Sometimes, I just can't think of anything worth saying. Which is when it's nice to have a friend with a camera.

Alastair,

For one reason or another, a lot of people assume I'd ride a sport bike. Not sure why. I love the stripped down look and laid back riding posture of the cruiser. Oh, and the exhaust note is nice too.

Then again, I wouldn't mind a touring bike either. My bike looks better without it's bags, so I have to strap them on if I want to go anywhere that requires luggage of any sort. Motorcycle riders can be a bit vain about how their bikes look.

Forgot to say that we all knew you had a cool side due to mean and moody piccy in the sidebar :-)

Also, the great thing about having a big tourer is that you can 'tour' feeling completely stable and comfortable at about 110mph. Not that I would do that, obviously, ahem.

Given the lack of a fairing on my bike, the speedometer, mirrors, and other useful things shimmy and shake alarmingly at 100 mph. I mean, should I get to 100 mph, they would shimmy alarmingly.

Always obey posted speed limits. Otherwise your speedometer shimmies.
