No, really, that's the best that I can do

I really don't have anything to say today, but it's been awhile since I've posted. I'm starting to feel a little guilty for neglecting my blog. So, I'm posting something.

Here's what you get today:

According to Bonhoeffer, there is no faith without obedience and no obedience without faith.

Feel free to discuss among yourselves.

Well, that's kind of a catch-22, isn't it? It makes me think of water swirling in a toilet, and that's where I'm stuck.

Makes sense to me. Too bad ol' Bonni got everything else wrong. At least he never got stuck in a toilet though.

It's amazing how when you have nothing to say you have something to say - thanks Tom!

God does work in sorted ways. I was on my way to the classic Romans 7 conundrum and I found your post. Faith and works, sacrifice and obedience, self denial and others. Thanks for the post!

F&D,

It isn't as much a catch 22 as it sounds. I'll try to explain it better in my next post. Actually, I'll try to explain what I think it means in my next post. That might not be better.

Jeff,

I've never read any major theological complaints about Bonhoeffer. That could be because I haven't looked though.

Alastair,

Bonhoeffer said it. I just typed it. Consider me the belated middle man.

Ponderergirl,

Glad you liked the post, short as it was.
